I’m digging the work of Johnny A. Williams, who I discovered from watching "A Tree Just Wants To Be a Tree," a video by Max Galassi. I especially love Johnny's Rex Coffee Table, the Canyons Coffee Table (cool gesture of the legs) and his fun duo piece called Rocky & Baywinkle (photo by David Welter). Rocky and Baywinkle are a couple of child-sized chairs that flip over to become tables or desks.
Johnny also wrote the Woodwise column for Apartment Therapy. He studied at the Center for Furniture Craftsman and the College of the Redwoods Fine Furniture program. Find him at www.johnnyawilliams.com. Enjoy.
