"The Homies" -- Apartment Therapy's List of Top Design Blogs of 2008

The design blog Apartment Therapy is running a survey it's calling "The Homies" to pick the best home design blog of 2008. They've narrowed the field down to eight finalists. While the voting is still open, the top eight is a great list already. I've mentioned some of them before, but these are all good blogs to know about. Apartment Therapy itself makes nine. Why should you be interested in design blogs? For starters, they offer great commentary on design and trends. It's helpful to see how furniture fits into the overall context of interior design. Also, they are very influential (the combined readership of these nine blogs reaches into the hundreds of thousands) and serve as a great platform for furniture makers to get their work noticed. Finally, they offer another way to see what people are buying or at least wanting to buy.
